Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide in-house technical support. The ideal candidate must possess strong IT skills, including expertise in backend and frontend web development, Microsoft technologies, and other relevant IT competencies with a proven track record in driving business growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for in-house systems and troubleshoot IT-related issues efficiently.
- Maintain and improve backend/frontend web applications, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Manage and support applications deployed by the organization.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and networks.
- Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place and best practices are followed.
- Assist in training employees on IT tools and best practices.
- Ensure appropriate regulations and controls are implemented accordingly, especially during routine maintenance activities.
- Perform IT/additional tasks as assigned by MD and the management Team.
Required Skills and Experience
- Degree/National Diploma or Professional in the field of IT with 3- 5 years of work experience in IT. (Professional IT Training Certification with significant experience may be considered)-
- Proficiency in backend and frontend web development (WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, etc.), website management.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Office 365, Windows Server, Azure, etc.).
- Experience in networking, cybersecurity, and general IT infrastructure support.
- Problem-solving mindset with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proven
- Maritime experience will be an added advantage.
