Bricks has been in the frontline of maritime security (MARSEC), occupying an indelible space in the security spot market for 13 years and counting. Our expertise in maritime security in Nigeria and the entire Gulf of Guinea has earned us an eminent membership position with the Maritime Security Providers Association of Nigeria (MASPAN), with our Managing Director serving as the President of the Association, who also served as the General Secretary of the Association in the past. We have conducted/coordinated about 300 escort task operations as well as about 500 Armed Guard Mobilization Our strength is drawn from our verified Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and regulatory compliance which have earned us a good name with the Nigerian Navy thus making the mobilization of Armed Men onboard our vessels and onboard our clients’ vessels easy and timely.
We have also conducted security risk assessments and planning of various port facilities and offshore terminals on behalf of the Designated Authority (NIMASA), and in the process significantly improved the security architecture and processes of these facilities. Bricks, then Britannic Maritime Limited, was part of the committee that drafted the NN MOU in the year 2013 and year 2024.
